Who are Bells Down?

At Bells Down Training, emergency training is at the heart of what we do. Our name comes from the phrase “the bells went down”, a term used in the fire service when an engine is mobilised to an emergency. It's a moment defined by rapid, confident response.

This ethos shapes all our services, preparing you to act instinctively in a crisis through engaging and practical first aid and fire safety training. We're based in Derbyshire and deliver our courses where it matters most: at your site, at your convenience. Our goal is simple: delivering first-class emergency training that's relevant, accessible and affordable.

Why We Do What We Do

Every year, around 3 million people are injured in the UK, many of them in the workplace. Legislation requires employers to have staff prepared to respond in an emergency, but we know the options can be confusing and time-consuming.

That's why we aim to make emergency training simple for Derbyshire businesses. Our knowledgeable team guides you through the process efficiently, ensuring your staff can act confidently and, most importantly, help save lives. We're here to make sure your workplace is compliant, safe and fully equipped to handle whatever comes its way.

Why Our Trainers Make All the Difference

Our trainers aren't just instructors: they're firefighters, paramedics and emergency professionals with years of hands-on experience. Based in Derbyshire but serving clients UK-wide, we understand what it means to act when every second counts.

They deliver training that is not only informative but also memorable and relevant, drawing on real-world emergencies to bring your course to life. We deliver first aid training for businesses, fire safety for workplaces and first aid courses for schools and care homes, all with the confidence and authority that only experience can provide.
